Terms and Conditions for fly fishing in NZ with the NZFC

Please read the terms and conditions below and contact us if you have any questions prior to booking your fly fishing trip to NZ.  We will be happy to discuss and clarify and queries you might have. By choosing to fish with us you agree to these terms and conditions.

Any information you provide to us either via our secure website or during the booking process will be kept confidential and only shared with a partner or supplier if it is required for their delivery (eg dietary requirements for our caterer preparing lunches).

Website usage and Privacy:

We sometimes use Google Adwords remarketing to advertise online. Third party vendors including Google show our ads on the internet.  These sites at time use cookies to serve ads that are appropriate to a visitor's previous visits.  You can opt out of Google's use of cookies by visiting the Ads Preferences Manager. Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page.

Insurance and Indemnity

Full responsibility for adequate and appropriate insurance cover is with you. It is your responsibility to purchase an insurance policy that adequately covers the activities you will be engaged in on your trip to New Zealand. We recommend Sandra at www.healthinsurance.co.nz.

Your fly fishing in NZ may involve walking on rocks, wading rivers, tramping through forests, rafting rivers or travel by helicopter or fixed wing planes. We only work with professional operators who give safety the utmost importance. Our guides always put safety first.

Deposits and Payment Terms

A 33% deposit is required to be paid within 5 days of confirmation of your trip.

The remaining full payment is required 8 weeks prior to the start date of your booking.

All prices are in NZ dollars and include all relevant New Zealand sales taxes.

Prices include all fishing gear, food and transport for each day of your guided fishing. You are responsible for transport to and from Taupo and evening meals and breakfasts, unless you are on multi-day trips where you are staying away with your guide.

You may cancel your holiday at any time in writing. As this incurs administrative costs and we may have turned away other fly fishing bookings for the same time period, we will retain your deposit. In addition we may apply cancellation fees up to the maximum shown below. The charges shown below are as a percentage of your total booking price.

Period before first day of booking:

* More than 42 days: deposit only

* 15-42 days: 50%

* 8-14 days: 60%

* 7 days to date of departure: up to 100%
